Wink

Też to pamiętam, bodajże w odcinku z ostatnią przegraną przed mergem.

Matt Van Wagenen’s - producent:

John Cochran – (“Survivor: South Pacific” and “Survivor: Caramoan – Fans vs. Favorites”) Cochran is the ultimate super fan who was able to live out a lifelong dream in front of millions. He’s a great combination of iconic personality mixed with savvy gamesmanship. This guy went from “South Pacific” where he received votes at nearly every Tribal Council to “Caramoan” where not a single vote was cast against him. In a season with returning players he navigated his way through wildcards like Brandon and Phillip and shrewd players like Malcolm and Andrea while managing to win four individual challenges. The cherry on top was sweeping all the votes at the final Tribal. Hard to argue with that.

Kim Spradlin – (“Survivor: One World”) It was amazing to watch Kim play the game. The only knock on her is that she didn’t have anyone to go head-to-head against and that’s not her fault. She was head and shoulders above everyone else in “One World.” She had an uncanny ability to make people trust her, great athleticism, and was able to see the game three steps ahead of everyone else – all with a smile on her face. Hard to do out there but she pulled it off and made it look effortless.

Benjamin “Coach” Wade – (“Survivor: Tocantins,” “Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains” and “Survivor: South Pacific”) I love Coach on “Survivor.” If there were “Dragonslayer” action figures I’d buy one. Whether he’s in a challenge, planning someone’s demise, or simply boiling beans, he’s completely entertaining. He was fascinating in “Tocantins,” human in “Heroes vs. Villains” and a force to be reckoned with in “South Pacific.” Although he came up short at the end of the game, he deserved his spot in the final three and is one of the best runner-ups ever. Love him or hate him, you can’t deny that he is one of the most iconic characters to ever put on a buff.

Nominacje Boston Roba:

Amber Mariano – (“Survivor: The Australian Outback” and “Survivor: All-Stars”) Let’s be real; after being married for nearly nine years and three children later, there is no way Amber is not my #1 Hall of Fame choice. I’m biased, but it’s my vote.

Stephenie LaGrossa – (“Survivor: Palau,” “Survivor: Guatemala,” and “Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains”) A challenge dominator and fierce competitor. How is she not in already?

Rudy Boesch – (“Survivor: Borneo” and “Survivor: All-Stars”) One of the original castaways that brought humor to the game. A Hall of Fame can’t be complete without him!

Nominacje Amandy:

James Clement – (“Survivor: China,” “Survivor: Micronesia – Fans vs. Favorites,” and “Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains”) Because he has always been a force to be reckoned with in challenges and is amazing at the survival part of the game as well.

Malcolm Freberg – (“Survivor: Philippines” and “Survivor: Caramoan – Fans vs. Favorites”) Overall great player and a strong competitor in all aspects of the game.

Todd Herzog – (“Survivor: China”) Knows more about “Survivor” and the game than anyone I know and it showed in how he played

Nominacje Ethana:

Stephenie LaGrossa – (“Survivor: Palau,” “Survivor: Guatemala,” and “Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains”) Stephenie was hardcore to the bones. She didn’t know how to not give 110%, and I respect that. Having just finished Palau and with a huge target on her back, she was asked to return and play again on Guatemala. Drastically altering her strategy, dominating challenges, and finishing second helped secure her spot in “Survivor” history.

Benjamin “Coach” Wade – (“Survivor: Tocantins,” “Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains,” and “Survivor: South Pacific) The two things I respect most about “Coach” are; his hair and his love of soccer. It takes a very confident man to rock a hairdo like this “Dragon Slayer.” He played the game three times and clearly coached himself into a better player. Although he never won, Coach Wade fought hard, never quit, and created a lasting legacy in this “Beautiful Game” of “Survivor.”

Jonny Fairplay – (“Survivor: Pearl Islands” and “Survivor: Micronesia – Fans vs. Favorites) Jonny created an evil character on “Survivor: Pearl Islands” and embraced his role as one of the most well-known “Survivor” A-hole’s to play the game. Both the “Survivor” contestants and the fans love to hate him. His calculated, pre-planned lie about his grandmother’s death was brilliant and opened the door for future A-holes to use this strategy to get ahead. Not everyone can be the nice guy, right?

The Class of 2010 included Parvati Shallow, Russell Hantz, Rob Mariano, Richard Hatch, and Sandra Diaz-Twine…

The Class of 2011 included Cirie Fields, Ozzy Lusth, and Tom Westman…

The Class of 2012 included Amanda Kimmel, Rob Cesternino, and Ethan Zohn

And now, the “Survivor” Hall of Fame is proud to induct Kimberly Spradlin into the Class of 2013. Kim received the most fan votes out of any nominee.

We had a chance to speak with the newly crowned Hall of Famer to get her thoughts on this honor…

Gordon Holmes: Kim, let me be the first to congratulate you. How does it feel to be recognized by “Survivor” production, the press, your peers, and the fans?
Kim Spradlin: Shocking actually. Every person on this list I’ve watched over the years and either cheered desperately for or against them! They are the stars of “Survivor”…so to see my name on this list is completely surreal. I probably could have picked a few people I think deserve it more than me… but I’m of course beyond honored.

Holmes: The last time we saw you, some guy named Jeff Probst was pulling your name out of an urn. What’ve you been up to since your big win?
Spradlin: Well, last march I married Bryan Wolfe, love of my life. We are in the middle of fixing up an old house we bought together that puts “The Money Pit” to shame. I sold Bella Bridesmaid, so I’m no longer “The bridal shop owner from San Antonio.” I’m currently co-hosting our local morning show, “Great Day San Antonio,” and I’m 7-1/2 months pregnant, our first baby is due at the end of January!
Holmes: Holy cow, that’s awesome. Congratulations a second time.

Holmes: The “Survivor: Blood vs. Water” reunion is this Sunday. How are you feeling about this crazy season?
Spradlin: I’ve really enjoyed “Blood vs. Water”! I think it’s been really interesting, entertaining, and exciting to watch. I think the “loved ones” idea was a winner, and I can’t wait for the finale!

What the fans said about Kim…

“One of the most dominant games ever, and probably the most dominant game ever by a woman.” – Ramsey

“She dominated the game physically, strategically, and socially. She made strong alliances (with Chelsea and Sabrina), had impeccable timing (blindsiding Kat, not playing her hidden immunity idol), and had amazing jury management skills. ” – Baus

“We should see her on “Survivor” again, hopefully in some “best of the best” format, because she’s THAT good.” – Juderay

What the Executive Voting Committee said about Kim…

“Kim Spradlin was so brilliant; she made her season boring because you knew nobody else had a chance to beat her.” – Rob Cesternino

“Kim Spradlin provided the single greatest performance by any first-time player.” – Parvati Shallow

“What?!? How is she not in already?” – Dalton Ross – Entertainment Weekly

And now, the “Survivor” Hall of Fame is proud to induct John Cochran into the Class of 2013. John received more Executive Committee votes than any other nominee.

We had a chance to speak with the newly crowned Hall of Famer to get his thoughts on this honor…

Gordon Holmes: The fans, production, the press, your peers…everyone’s loving them some Cochran. How does it feel to be considered one of the greatest players in the game’s history?
John Cochran: One of the greatest players in ‘Survivor’ history might be overstating it, but it’s an honor to be recognized like this. I’m first and foremost still just a huge fan of “Survivor,” so to have other fans respond positively to me is a great thrill and very gratifying. It’s also surreal to have “Survivor” icons like Cirie and Sandra, whom I’ve admired for so long, select me as a player they enjoyed watching. And to have the support of producers and challenge designers and the people who make “Survivor” what it is – well, it’s just a wonderful feeling!

Holmes: Your year has been beyond amazing. For those who haven’t heard, can you catch us up on what you’ve been doing since your win last spring?
Cochran: The day after the Season 26 finale, I got a call from Probst saying that Greg Garcia, the man who created “Raising Hope” and “My Name Is Earl,” had been watching “Survivor” all season long, thought I was funny, and was interested in meeting with me about possibly writing for his new CBS sitcom. A couple weeks later, I graduated from law school, moved out to LA, and now I’m a staff writer for “The Millers” (CBS Thursdays at 8:30!). Writing jokes for Will Arnett, Beau Bridges, Margo Martindale, and more? It’s a dream job, and it’s all because of “Survivor.”

Holmes: This new season is crazy town. How do you feel about all the twists and turns?
Cochran: I’ve been loving “Blood vs. Water.” The loved ones twist made the stakes feel so much higher for each vote, and Redemption Island really established itself as a legitimate factor in the game, instead of just being a detour on the way home. I also think it’s a testament to the quality of the season that, when I’ve asked people who they’re rooting for, viewers seem to have a variety of favorites; there’s a lot to like. It’s a great cast, a fresh twist, and there have been some really fun, exciting moments.

What the fans said about John…

“One of the few who really learned from his mistakes and improved his game.” - Sue

“(Cochran) expertly navigated a season with returners.” - Ryan

“Proof that nerds are sexy!” - Melissa

What the Executive Voting Committee said about John…

“He went from the “zero in 90210″ the first time he played — to the winner of “Fans vs. Favorites.” And yet, despite winning the game, his self-deprecation remains intact. If you congratulate him for winning, he’ll say “Yeah but it took me two times, so I can’t be that good.” You are that good, Cochran and you deserve a spot in the “Survivor” Hall of Fame.” - Host and Executive Producer Jeff Probst

“Cochran miraculously won 4 individual immunity challenges. His strategic and social game won him all the jury votes. If I ever play again, I wanna be just like Cochran and win an Immunity Challenge. He’s my hero.” - Sandra Diaz-Twine

“His superpower was not in his physical prowess, but in his intellect. He went from student of the game to master of the game, and along the way gave the audience an abundance of great sound bites, sage revelations, and hilarious insights.” - Challenge Producer John Kirhoffer

And now, the “Survivor” Hall of Fame is proud to induct Jonny Fairplay as the third and final member of the Class of 2013.

Jonny Fairplay’s Hall of Fame Acceptance Speech

First of all; I would like to say thank you to my fellow Hall of Famers, press, and fans that chose to vote for me. To the others; I’m an acquired taste. It is an honor to be recognized as one of the greatest at what you do and I feel that I did “Survivor” best.

My dream as a little kid was to be the greatest “bad guy” wrestler of all time. That never exactly happened; I was a few vitamins short of the physique needed. I did however become the greatest heel in the history of reality television on the greatest show of the genre.

My experience on Pearl Islands is one of the most special moments of my life. For the record, my favorite episode is the one in which I voted out Rupert; not the “Dead Grandma” lie. However, the “Dead Grandma” lie was an incredible moment that captivated pop culture and changed my life forever.

I would like to personally thank: Lynne Spillman – for seeing me at the gas station that fateful day, CBS and Mark Burnett – for giving me the opportunity to be the “bad guy,” Thunder D – for being a big enough scum bag to come through and lie with me to others during a very emotional Reward Challenge, my “Dead Grandma” – for staying alive, Rob Cesternino – for giving me the blueprint, and to all my other “Survivor” brothers and sisters – for giving me the greatest extended family anyone could ever ask for!

And a special thank you to everyone that makes “Survivor” what it is; you have honestly made me one the luckiest and happiest people alive! Thank you, you changed my life forever!

What the fans said about Jonny…

“He changed the game by bringing the outside world into the game. Worked back and forth between alliances and had the trust of many different people in the game.” – Eric

“You just love to hate the guy.” – Colleen

“Should Fairplay’s grandmother do the induction speech or should Thunder D?” – Tricia

What the Executive Voting Committee said about Jonny…

“His calculated, pre-planned lie about his grandmother’s death was brilliant and opened the door for future A-holes to use this strategy to get ahead. Not everyone can be the nice guy, right?” – Ethan Zohn

“Whether you loved him or whether you hated him, he kept things interesting and he changed “Survivor” and Reality TV forever.” – Rob Cesternino

“He is the first villain that made a huge play. Fairplay made an exceptional move that will be remembered for the rest of everyone’s life. This legend deserves to be in the Hall of Fame. – Russell Hantz
